Daytona Beach Mugshots, Recent Arrests & Booking Records
For a recent Daytona Beach arrest, start with Volusia County’s inmate information system rather than a third-party mugshot gallery. County corrections manages the jail records and booking-photo route, while Daytona Beach Police records and the Volusia County Clerk provide different pieces of the arrest and court record.
Looking for a current Daytona Beach booking?
Use the Volusia County inmate search first. The county states that its online inmate information is for general informational use and is updated every 15 minutes. For recent daily arrest data, the Volusia County Clerk also publishes downloadable 24-hour arrest/booking reports.
If the inmate-search portal is temporarily unavailable, use the Volusia County Corrections page or call the appropriate jail contact instead of assuming the person has been released.
How to Search Daytona Beach Mugshots and Jail Bookings
A Daytona Beach arrest does not use a separate city jail-search database for custody information. Volusia County Division of Corrections operates the county jail system, so its inmate-information route is the practical starting point for people booked after an arrest in Daytona Beach.
Where to Find Recent Daytona Beach Arrests
The Volusia County Clerk provides an official Arrest/Booking Download built from the county Jail Management System. It contains 24-hour arrest information for people arrested and booked into the Branch Jail during the previous reporting period.
The Clerk says these daily files contain initial booking, charge and violation information and remain available for roughly 14 calendar days. That makes the download useful when you want a recent-booking list rather than searching one name at a time.
Use inmate information
Best when you already know who you are looking for and need a current custody or booking record.
Use the Clerk’s arrest download
Best when you are checking recent county bookings and want the official daily file rather than a commercial mugshot page.
Mugshot, Arrest Report, Jail Record and Court Case: What Is Different?
| Need | Best route | Useful identifier |
|---|---|---|
| Current inmate / booking | Volusia County Division of Corrections | Full name and booking number |
| Mugshot / booking photo | Volusia County Corrections public-access system | Name and booking details |
| Recent 24-hour bookings | Volusia County Clerk Arrest/Booking Download | Booking date |
| Daytona Beach police arrest report | Daytona Beach Police Records Unit | Case number, date and location |
| Criminal court case | Volusia County Clerk Case Inquiry | Name or court case number |
| Bond information | Volusia County Branch Jail Booking Office | Booking number and inmate name |
These records can change at different times. A booking record may appear before a complete police report is available, and a court case may later show amended charges, dismissal, plea, adjudication or another disposition that is not visible in the original booking entry.

1300 Red John Drive
Daytona Beach, FL 32124Main: 386-254-1555
Booking / bonding / charges: 386-254-1540
The county identifies the Branch Jail as the location for bond posting and First Appearance hearings.
1354 Indian Lake Road
Daytona Beach, FL 32124Main: 386-254-1565
The two county correctional facilities have different housing functions, so verify the inmate’s current facility before mailing, visiting or traveling there.
Bond and Release Information
Volusia County directs bond questions to the Branch Jail Booking Office at 386-254-1555, which the county says operates 24 hours a day. The county also states that a bond may be posted in cash or through a bondsman.
The county’s current release policy states that inmates generally are not released between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. An exception applies when a responsible party is on site to transport the person away from the correctional property; that person must check in with Control before release.
Confirm the current bond with the Branch Jail Booking Office. Do not rely on an old screenshot or third-party booking page because bond status can change.
Use the Clerk’s criminal case inquiry. Bond and custody information does not by itself explain the final result of the criminal case.
Confirm current release status directly with Corrections before traveling to the jail.
How to Check the Court Case After a Daytona Beach Arrest
The Volusia County Clerk’s Case Inquiry is the better source for court activity after a booking. Criminal case records generally can be searched by name or case number, although sealed, expunged or otherwise confidential records are not available for normal public viewing.
Volusia County Corrections notes that after First Appearance it can typically take one to two days for the Clerk to process future court dates. If a future hearing is not yet visible immediately after booking, check again rather than assuming no hearing exists.

Volusia County uses appointment-based visitation. You need the inmate’s six-digit booking number before scheduling, which is another reason to record that number when you locate the correct inmate entry.
- Visits are scheduled Tuesday through Saturday.
- Appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
- Visitors should check in 10 minutes before the scheduled session.
- Adults age 18 and older need acceptable photo identification showing date of birth.
- Electronic devices such as phones, tablets and cameras are prohibited in the visitation building.
- Visitation is restricted during the inmate’s initial 72 hours unless approved by the Operations Supervisor.
The on-site Video Visitation Center is next to the Branch Jail at 1300A Red John Drive. Because rules and appointment availability can change, check the official visitation page before making the trip.
Check Current Visitation RulesHow to Request a Daytona Beach Police Arrest Report
A jail booking record and a Daytona Beach Police arrest report are not the same document. The Daytona Beach Police Department’s Records Unit maintains arrest reports and other police records, but the city states that arrest reports must first be filed by the Florida Seventh Circuit State Attorney’s Office before the Police Department can release them.
Record requests
Records Unit hours are listed as 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and holidays.
Police Records contact: 386-671-5430.
Give enough detail
The city advises requesters to provide as much information as possible, including the case number, incident date, location and type of incident.
What to Do When You Cannot Find the Booking
Try the full legal name and check spelling. If the arrest was very recent, wait for the county system to update and search again.
Do not assume the person is still in custody. Check the current inmate search and then the Clerk’s court record for later case activity.
Recent bookings may precede later Clerk processing. Corrections says future court-date processing after First Appearance can take one to two days.
Call Volusia County booking, bonding, charges and arrest information at 386-254-1540.
Use Daytona Beach Police Records. Police reports may not be immediately releasable because of filing and processing requirements.
Stop and compare identifiers before sharing the record. Similar names are not enough to establish identity.
Use Mugshot and Arrest Information Carefully
Recent arrest information is especially easy to misread because a booking happens near the beginning of a criminal case. Charges can change, a person can be released, and a later court disposition may tell a materially different story from the original jail entry.
- Match more than just a name before identifying a person.
- Keep the booking date separate from the date of any later court event.
- Do not describe an allegation as a conviction.
- Use current official records when accuracy matters.
- Do not use this page as a substitute for legal advice or an authorized background-screening service.
