Randall County Arrest Mugshots, Current Jail Bookings & Records
The official Randall County Sheriff’s Office jail roster is the best starting point when you need to check whether someone is currently listed in the county jail, review an available booking photo, or identify booking details that can help you continue to court, warrant or records searches.
The roster changes as people are booked, released or transferred. A booking record or mugshot documents an arrest or detention event; it does not establish guilt, and it should not be treated as the final court outcome.
Start with the official Randall County jail roster
Search the Sheriff’s Office roster by name. Open the matching profile and record the identifiers shown there before moving to court or warrant databases.
A mugshot search is usually only the first step. Court records are the better source for what happened after the arrest.
How to Check Current Randall County Jail Bookings
Randall County Sheriff’s Office maintains the public jail roster. The roster has a name-search field and individual inmate pages. Because custody changes throughout the day, treat the roster as a current lookup rather than a permanent history of every arrest in the county.
What an inmate profile may show
- Booking date and time
- Inmate identification number
- Arresting agency
- Cause or case number
- Charge description
- Issuing authority
- Crime classification
- Bond type and amount
- Booking photograph when published
What the roster does not settle
The roster is a custody and booking source. It does not by itself tell you whether a charge was later dismissed, reduced, amended or resulted in a conviction.
For case status, hearings, plea information, orders and disposition, continue to the appropriate Randall County court or clerk record.
Randall County Mugshots and Booking Photos
A booking photograph may be displayed on an inmate profile when the Sheriff’s Office publishes one. Availability can vary by record, and a photograph should not be assumed to exist simply because an arrest occurred.
A mugshot is an identification image created during the booking process. It does not show whether prosecutors filed the original allegation, whether charges changed, or how a court ultimately resolved the case.

Understanding Charges, Cause Numbers and Bond Information
A booking profile can contain one or more charge descriptions and a cause number. Keep the exact wording and number when moving to court records; similar-looking offenses can belong to different courts or cases.
The allegation recorded for the booking. It is not the same thing as a conviction or final court disposition.
A useful identifier for locating a related court matter when a cause number has been assigned and displayed.
Helps indicate which court, agency or authority is connected to the listed charge or hold.
Shows booking-level bond information when provided. A zero amount does not always mean a person can be released without further action; holds and no-bond statuses can affect release.
How to Check the Court Case After a Randall County Arrest
Jail records and court records serve different purposes. The jail roster focuses on custody and booking. Court records track the formal case after filing and are the better source for hearings, motions, pleas, orders and disposition.
| Record type | Likely route | Useful identifier |

| District felony case | Randall County District Clerk | Cause number, full name, court |
| County-level misdemeanor | Randall County County Clerk / county court | Cause number and defendant name |
| Current jail custody | Randall County Sheriff’s Office jail roster | Name and inmate ID |
| Active warrant lookup | Randall County Sheriff’s Office warrant search | Name and warrant number |

Arrest Reports, Sheriff Records and Public Information Requests
An inmate roster entry is not the same as an arrest report, incident report or complete law-enforcement file. If the information you need is not available through the jail roster or court system, use the appropriate Sheriff’s Records Division or Randall County public-information route.
Sheriff’s Records Division
The Sheriff’s Office lists its Records Division among its general contacts. The current contact page lists the Records Division at 806-468-5863.
Public Information Act requests
Randall County provides a designated Public Information Act request route for county records that are not available through a direct clerk, court or sheriff lookup.
Randall County Jail Contact and Visitation Help
Randall County Sheriff’s Office lists the Jail Division at 806-468-5752 and Jail Visitation at 806-468-5825. The jail is located at 9100 S. Georgia St., Amarillo, TX 79118.
Because visitation procedures can change and the public Jail Division page does not provide enough detail to safely infer a complete schedule, call the visitation number before traveling. Ask about the current visit method, available times, identification requirements and any restrictions that apply to the specific inmate.
What to Do When You Cannot Find a Randall County Booking
Check spelling and name order. If the arrest was very recent, allow time for booking processing before assuming the person is not in custody.
A person may have been released, transferred or otherwise removed from the current roster. Use court records if you need the longer-term case history.
Do not assume a booking did not occur. Booking-photo availability can differ from the availability of custody or court information.
Check whether you are searching the correct clerk or court level. A recent booking may also precede the public appearance of a related court filing.
Call the Jail Division for current custody or release information. Online booking details can change and may not explain every hold.
Stop and compare inmate ID, age, booking date, cause number and other identifiers. Similar names are not enough to establish identity.
