Orlando Mugshots, Recent Arrests & Booking Records
For a person booked into the Orange County jail system, the fastest official starting point is the Orange County Corrections Current Inmate Database. It can show a current booking photo, charges and bond information while the person remains listed in jail custody.
If you need the police arrest report, a released person’s record, or the later court outcome, use the separate Orlando Police Department, Orange County Sheriff’s Office or Orange County Clerk route described below.
Start with the record you actually need
The official systems are split by purpose. A jail lookup answers a different question from a police report or criminal court docket.
Use the booking number and case number as you move between jail, police and court systems.
How to Search Orlando Mugshots and Current Jail Bookings
Orange County Corrections operates the Current Inmate Database used for people presently listed in the county jail system. The official search requires a last name; a first name is optional.
Recent Orlando Arrests and the Daily Booking List
Orange County Corrections also publishes a Daily Booking List. The report covers people booked during a 24-hour period beginning at midnight of the preceding day.
The booking report covers the Orange County jail system, not Orlando Police Department arrests only. It can include bookings made by OPD, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and other law-enforcement agencies that use the county booking system.
Use the daily list when
- You are checking very recent Orange County bookings.
- You want to identify a booking number or arresting agency.
- You need a starting point before opening the live inmate profile.
Use the live inmate search when
- You need the most current jail status available online.
- You want the current booking photo.
- You want current charges or bond information.
Where Orlando Booking Photos Come From
The Orange County Current Inmate Database states that its current inmate records include a booking photo along with charge and bond information. That makes it the primary official route for a mugshot when the person is presently listed in county custody.
If the booking photo is no longer in the current inmate search
Use the Orange County Corrections public-record process for jail-held records, or request an arrest report from the arresting agency. Avoid assuming that a third-party photo is current or that a historical booking reflects present custody.
How to Get an Orlando Police Arrest Report
The Orlando Police Department allows anyone to request certain public records online, including arrest reports, case reports and computer-aided dispatch records. OPD advises requesters to provide as much identifying information as possible.
Helpful details to provide
- Date of the incident
- Case number, if known
- Name of the person involved
- Location of the incident
- Specific keywords that identify the record

Check the Orange County Criminal Court Case After an Arrest
The jail record tells you about booking and custody. The Orange County Clerk of Courts record is the better source for court events, filed charges, hearings and the later disposition when a public case is available online.
The Clerk’s My eClerk system provides public access to many court records and includes a dedicated criminal-case search.

Bond and Release Information
The current inmate database can show a listed bond amount. Before sending money, verify the inmate profile and follow Orange County Corrections’ own bonding instructions.
Official Orange County bond routes
- Bond may be posted in person at the Booking and Release Center using payment forms accepted by the county.
- A licensed bonding company of the family’s choice may be used; the jail does not recommend a particular company.
- The county also publishes a Western Union bond-payment option with its own payment instructions.
Orange County advises that the release process can take up to 12 hours after bond processing because identity, legal holds, warrants, property return and facility procedures must be completed.

Track Custody Changes With Florida VINE
Orange County Corrections links to VINE, a free statewide service for custody and criminal-case information. The general public can register for updates online or by phone.
VINE may provide current custody location, pending charges, a scheduled release date when known and bond information. Orange County says the inmate booking number is the easiest identifier to use.
What to Do When You Cannot Find an Orlando Arrest
The person may have been released and removed from the current list. Check the recent booking report, court records, or request the police record.
Confirm whether Orlando Police, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office or another city police department made the arrest.
Use the booking number and case number rather than relying only on a name match.
Move from the jail record to the Orange County Clerk criminal docket. Booking charges can change after prosecutors and courts act.
Use the appropriate public-record request rather than assuming an old third-party mugshot page is complete or current.
